Extended mode makes angle correction easier to use.
Start Turbo Guide Line. Specify the position in advance under
Option > Startup > Start Position, or use
Command Text to align it with the development software.
With the transparency setting in Normal mode, the display is semi-transparent.
Switch to Extended mode.
The red vertical line near the center is the reference line. The spacing above and below the black area of the image is different, so the image is slightly tilted.
Possible adjustment methods include:
- Rotate the image in the development software to align it with the reference line
- Use Point to Point to obtain the angle and use that value for angle correction
This example uses Point to Point.
Turbo Guide Line can copy the angle to the clipboard when a
line is drawn with Point to Point. Because Adobe Lightroom Classic
is used as the development software, add /P 1 to the
startup arguments so the value is copied in the format for
Lightroom.
Change the line mode to Point to Point. Using the Gap detection
function, specify the first point with → +
Left Click/Space, then specify the second point in
the same way. A line is drawn and the angle is copied to the
clipboard. The angle was -0.3127.
Paste the value into Lightroom.
The angle has been corrected.
