Drawing Lines

Select the line type, line width, line style, and line color, then use a drawing confirmation operation at any position in area ① to draw a line. The available line types are Horizontal, Vertical, Angle, Rectangle, Circle, Point to Point, and Cross. Available line widths are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 10 pixels. Available line styles are Solid, Dash, and Dot. Available line colors are Black, Red, Green, Blue, and White.

W-Line Function (Horizontal / Vertical)

Draws the same line at the opposite position. When the guide-line drawing area is aligned with the target window, a horizontal W-Line can be used to check whether the top and bottom positions are even, and a vertical W-Line can be used to check whether the left and right positions are even.

Operation

When moving the cursor with the keyboard, pressing a modifier key together with an arrow key changes the movement amount.

Keyboard operation is recommended for fine positioning.

Shift Key

Left-click while holding the Shift key to draw a square or perfect circle whose size is based on the shorter side.

Point to Point

The first drawing confirmation operation stores the start point. The next drawing confirmation operation is used as the end point and draws the line. In Option, select Full (draw across the entire window) or Short (draw from the start point to the end point).

Edge Detection

Press an arrow key together with the drawing confirmation operation to perform edge detection in the arrow direction. Detection uses a luminance-difference Gap value (%). When the luminance difference reaches or exceeds the configured Gap value, the position is treated as an edge and a line is drawn there. If no edge is detected, a line is drawn at the start point.

The configured Gap value remains effective until Turbo Guide Line exits. Set the default value under Option > General > Gap.

Undo/Redo

Undo cancels the previous line drawing. Redo cancels Undo.

Live Drawing Preview

For Rectangle, Circle, and Point to Point, which specify two points, a preview line is displayed in real time. Preview lines are not displayed during Edge Detection.
