Turbo GPX can edit GPX points.
- Add or insert new points
- Edit existing points
- Insert or delete points
Opening Edit Mode
From the main window, select [Map]-[Edit] to open the map
window in Edit mode.
Adding New Points
Click on the map to add a point.
You can choose the click
action from the following combinations.

Set elevation retrieval to [Japan GSI] to retrieve the elevation for each point when it is added.
In this example, `2.90 m` has been set in the Elevation field.
Each time you click the map, a point is added to the end of the list.
The points are connected with lines, forming a track.
Inserting Additional Points
You can insert a new point directly below the selected
point.
Click a point on the map, or select the point in the
list where you want to insert a new point.
When you click on the map, the new point is inserted
immediately after the selected point.
A new point has been added to row 6.
When you insert additional points, the point numbers may no
longer match the list in the main window.
Before applying the
edited data to the main window, it is recommended to clear the
existing data first ([Edit]-[Clear All]).
Applying Changes to the Main Window
On the [Edit] tab, set [Apply to GPX List]-[Mode] to
Append, then click the [Apply] button.
The edited data has been applied to the list in the main
window.
Checking the Result in Map View
Open the created GPX data in the map view window.
In the map view window, you can also view charts.
The
elevation data can be checked in the chart.
Editing Existing Points
In the main window, right-click the target point and select
[Edit This].
The data is automatically loaded into the edit screen, and
the target point is shown in Edit mode.
To move the point,
click the new location on the map.
After choosing the new location, click the [Update] button to
update the editing data.
Set [Apply to GPX List]-[Mode]
to Overwrite.
Overwrite updates the
point with the same number in the main window list.
The point has been updated.
Densify
Use densify when you want to increase the detail of the
data.
In this example, the original points are close together,
so the spacing is set to 10 m.
([Densify]-[Spacing] = 10
m)
Rows marked with * in the leftmost column are
densified data.
If you add this data to the main window as-is,
it will be mixed with the original data. Before returning the data
to the main window, clear the data in the main window first
([Edit]-[Clear All]).
After clearing the data, set [Apply to
GPX List]-[Mode] to Append, then click the [Apply]
button.
The list in the main window has been updated.
(The speed
is not displayed correctly because the timestamps for the
densified data have not been set.)
This is how it appears in the map view window.
