Turbo GPX | Map Edit

You can edit points.

Adding Points

When you click on the map using the configured trigger, a point is added.

If no item is selected in the edit point list, the point is added to the end. If an item is selected, the point is added below the selected row.

You can right-click on the list view and use Select Clear to clear the selection.

Transfer from Main Window

When you select points in the main window and open the edit window, the selected data is transferred to the edit point list.

Edit This: Directly Edit the Current Data

When you select [Edit This] from the right-click menu in the main window, Edit mode opens for that point. In this mode, the No. from the main window is preserved even if Recalculate No. is enabled.

Editing Points

Use one of the following operations on the point you want to edit.

Recalculate

Recalculates the items configured on the Option tab.

Time Auto Assign

Automatically assigns time.

Item Description
Method from Now Assign based on the current time
from First Assign based on the first row
Interval Set the interval (seconds)
Update button Run time assignment

Time is assigned from top to bottom using method + interval.

Elevation: Assign Elevation

Sets the elevation assignment method.

Japan GSI Assign using information from the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (Japan only)
Open-Elevation Assign using Open-Elevation
Update button Run elevation assignment

The application accesses each server and assigns elevation from top to bottom.

Apply to GPX List

Applies the edit point list to the GPX point list in the main window.

Insert Insert at the specified position

Append on overwrite failure: add items that cannot be overwritten to the end

"Append" adds items to the end of the GPX point list in the main window. "Insert" inserts items below the number specified by Insert No. "Overwrite" overwrites data with the same No. If the target No. does not exist in the GPX point list in the main window, the operation is treated as a failure. If "Append on overwrite failure" is enabled, failed items are added to the end. If it is disabled, failed items are discarded.

Densify: Fill Points

Fills points between existing points.

Item Unit Description
Spacing m Specify the fill interval in meters
Go button Run

If the distance between A and B is equal to or greater than the fill interval, fill points are added between A and B.

Start/End Pins

Turbo GPX | Map Edit | Start/End Pin

You can place Start/End pins as editing guides. In the map edit window, right-click an edit point and select "Start Point" or "End Point" to place a Start/End pin on that point. Double-click the pin to clear it.

Importing a Google Maps URL

Turbo GPX | Map Edit | Google Map Import

Imports a URL searched in Google Maps. The search keyword is set as the label.

Integration with Google Map Route

Turbo GPX | Map Edit | Google Map Export Route

Exports the data being edited to a Google Maps route.
Set Start/End points and add waypoints as needed. Use [Map]-[Google Map Route] on the map window to export the route to Google Maps.
