Turbo GPX offers three license levels:

BOOSTUP mainly provides viewing features that do not edit the data. You can delete GPX points from the Main window, but you cannot edit individual points or save GPX files.

You can downsample the map display, but you cannot apply the resulting points to the Main window list.

OVERBOOST

OVERBOOST adds editing capabilities to the viewing features:

• Save GPX files
• Execute Command Text
• Copy data to the clipboard
• Map editing:
  • Edit individual points
  • Advanced color coding
  • Ghost features
  • HUD displays
• Walk
• Apply downsampling results to the Main window
• Generate GPX data from photo GPS information

BOOSTUP or OVERBOOST?

BOOSTUP is mainly for viewing GPX data in the Main and Map windows, without data processing. OVERBOOST provides the BOOSTUP features plus editing, Command Text and other capabilities.

You can upgrade from BOOSTUP to OVERBOOST. BOOSTUP is appropriate for simply inspecting GPX tracks on a map. You can also open point locations in Google Maps for more detail.

Consider OVERBOOST for:

• Travel GPS logs
• Running and cycling logs
• Race circuit driving logs
• Watching road cycling races
• Creating GPX data
• Working with Google Maps

Travel: Multiple GPS Logs

You can color-code GPX data by distance, hour or date; edit unwanted points; link photos; and revisit locations using Street View.

To automate the same operations, Command Text can load GPX files, open the map, select color coding, run Photo Link, optionally downsample, and launch Walk.

Running and Cycling

If you often follow the same route, use Ghost to compare your pace. A hill-climb with other riders can be represented as a virtual race using GPX files and Ghost data.

Circuit Driving

For example, data recorded at 5 Hz can be displayed at finer intervals using View Interpolation. Combine this with Ghost to analyze your driving.

Watching Road Cycling Races

Get the official GPX route and follow the race on the map. Use the jump-by-distance-to-end feature to locate a point based on the remaining distance shown in a broadcast. Examine upcoming climbs in Slope Profile or check the road width near the finish in Street View.

Creating GPX Data

Add points directly on the map, import from Google Maps or Street View, or use full Plus Codes. You can increase the display density of sparse data and save GPX sections split by color-coding intervals, such as 1,000 meters.

Google Maps Integration

Google Maps is available during both Walk playback and point editing. Locations shown in Walk can be imported directly into Map Edit.
